"Recently I had the experience of working thru State Farm to have my roof replaced due to a hail storm. The roofing company contacted State Farm and worked out all the details at which time an inspector came to the house and examined the roof and said it would definitely need replacing. He immediately sent word back to me that State Farm would pay for the entire project plus the amount they stated was greater than I expected. Our roofer told me he would place a better shingle on my home as a result of the amount State Farm was paying me. Within just a few days I had the partial check from State Farm and the roofer proceeded to schedule a time to redo the roof. Immediately after the roof was completed, I had a State Farm representative contact me and told me how to go online and have the balance of the funds sent to my bank account. This was done overnight.
